No one on the line just open and no one speaking. Clearly from abroad at 4am! Scared me and clearly a call centre, I have an elderly dad and grandfather! I googled to see several pep had same call a scammer! Will call bt to try block tomoro.

A foreign sounding man claimed I had been accepted for a loan and he had sent 3 prepaid debit cards with the approved loan money loaded onto these 3 cards. All I have to do is call or email him for the pin numbers to activate the cards I have received the cards but it looks very dodgy!!

Thick asian accent on dreadful connection [could barely make it out for background noise] claimed to be calling from "BT Openreach" about my broadband as they had received reports from my router [!] that it was too slow! This absolute nonsense. When challenged about where they got my number they hung up!

Had a call from Jack saying he was from the Financial Services Agency. I was owed £1950 because I had overpaid a loan. He confirmed my details. He then asked about the "loan". I gave false details - I have no such loan. He said a supervisor would ring me back. I am awaiting the call. Judging by his accent and the time delay in responding Jack was clearly making the call from an overseas call centre.
