They've called before, sometimes from Manchester. Very pushy. Obviously they search social media looking for UK connections. I haven't worked in the UK and they called me as I have London connections through work. They called every other day for a week until I picked up and said I don't need 'service' and hung up. I don't feel obliged to be polite to scammers.

Allegedly their researchers found my contact details on Linkedin - my mobile number isn't! Kept asking if I had a pension back in the UK and advised me there had been considerable changes to the pension policies in the past 5 years etc. I wasn't prepared to give them any information and ended the call. I blocked their number.

Said they found on my profile that I worked in the UK and did I have a pension there.. I wouldn't give any information but the guy (Ben) kept pushing, saying law has changed blah blah blah... I said I wouldn't speak to them until I've checked them out. Glad I came across this thread.. I'll be blocking the number!
